My dear Mr. Hill:

I have your letter in regard to examining supplemental application papers for
the Society of Colonial Wars.  In reply, let me say that I do not do genealogical
work professionally, but that I shall be glad to pass on the papers for you if you
will be good enough to pass them on to me.  Naturally the amount of work of the kind
that I can undertake to do is limited, however willing I may be.  I am the more will-
ing to do things of the sort for members of the Society who are more or less remote
from large libraries.
