My dear Dr. Adams:- Your letter of the 2nd received
for which please accept my thanks.

I am enclosing a list of the ancestors mentioned, and
will appreciate it very much if you will indicate just
which of them will be acceptable by the General Society
of Colonial Wars.  I am not giving the line of descent
as I have not yet received blanks for these supplemental
papers, but the services and authorities I give for them
is what I want you to pass on.

I appreciate very much your taking the time and trouble
to do this for me, and hope I can repay you in some way.
