Anthony Savage of Gloucester County, will you please refer to the following, and let me know if they would be acceptable for supplemental papers along with an application on the service of Col. John Frogg? "Virginia Journals of the House of Burgesses 1727-1734, 1736-1740, page 36 "Monday, March 11, 1727, Ordered that Mr. Strother have leave to be absent from the service of the House til tomorrow fo ' night." Page 156, "Mr. Strother was present, Saturday June 24, 1732." Page 173, "Thursday August 22, 1734, Also a new writ for election of Burgesses to serve in the present General Assembly, for the County of King George, in room of Mr. Nicholas Smith and Mr. William Strother, deceased." For service of Capt. Anthony Savage, page 221. The Buckners of Va. and Allied Families of Strother & etc, by Crosier, says; "Capt. Anthony Savage was Justice and High Sheriff of Gloucester County." I do not wish to annoy you with this matter, but am anxious to get these matters ready for my cousins application for membership in the Va. Society of Colonial Wars, and do not know any other person who could pass on them, with authority.
