Mr. John Ford

Grassy Cove, Tenn.

Dear Sir:-  Mr. D. O. Harris of this city has informed me that
he thinks you can tell me the names of your great grandparents.

According to Mr. Harris, your grandfather was Dr. Ford of
Grassy Cove, who was the brother of Polly Ford who married Wm.
Renfro.  Cant you tell me the name of the father of Dr. Ford
and his sister Dolly Ford Renfro?  Also the maiden name of
their mother?

I have also been told that they came from Virginia at an
early date and settled in Cumberland County, where they lived
and died.  Do you know the county or section of Virginia
they came from?  Were any of the older members of the gamily
in the Revolutionary War?

Do you know the names of the parents of William Renfro, and
the county in Virginia they came from?

I want this data for a history of the Renfro and Ford families,
I am trying to get data for, and will appreciate it very much
if you can help me.
