Harriman, Tennessee. June 18, 1920. Miss Idelle Keyes, 14 Charles River Square, Boston, Mass. My dear Madam: - On March 3rd, I sent you a list of Mass. ancestors asking you to give me a price on furnishing references by volume and page, which could be used for Colonial Dames papers. I wrote you again on the 11th of May asking that you let me hear from you regarding the matter, or if you could not do this work for me, to please return the list of ancestors, as I needed it in getting ready my application papers for the Colonial wars. So far I have had no word from you. Why don’t you answer my letters or at least return the list, as requested. I need it very much and will appreciate it if you will let me have it by return mail, if you cannot do this other work for me. Thanking you in advance for your immediate attention to this matter, I am, Your very truly, CKH/K ================================================== Transcription copyright © RoaneTNHistory.org 2005.
