Harriman, Tennessee. Sept. 2, 1920 Miss Idelle Keyes, 14 Charles River Square, Boston, Mass. My dear Miss Keyes:- On July 7th I replied to a note I had from you in Philadelphia, in which you stated you would return home on the 15th, at which time you would go into your records and let me have references for Colonial ancestor services, which you thought you had in your order book. I have not heard any thing from you up to this time, and I am writing to know if you can let me have these references now? If I did not have Elkanah Lane, Norton, Mass., Member of the Committee of Correspondence for Norton, March 6th, 1775, on the list sent you, please add his name. I think this an eligible office or service for Mass. C.D. paper, is it not? If you cannot find my line in your order book, please advise and I will send you another, at once, as I am in need of these papers. Thanking you in advance for your prompt attention to this matter, I am, Yours very truly, CKH/K ================================================== Transcription copyright © RoaneTNHistory.org 2005.
