Harriman, Tennessee, Nov. 2, 1920. Mr. W. E. Parham Maryville, Tenn. Dear Mr. Parham:- You know I am always trying to help some body with their family "tree" and this time it is Mrs Jack Tarwater. I remember talking to you one time about the Eaton family at Eatons X Roads, and as one line of Mrs. Tarwater's family goes back to the Eatons, I am enclosing a chart showing what I know about it. I am hoping you can add some thing to it for me, and you know I will appreciate it if you can. Right at the present time I would like to find some Revolutionary services so that Mrs. T. could join the Kendrick Chapter of the D.A.R., which is organized and work- ing very nicely. I will be very glad to have any thing you can give me. I have not returned your S. C. books yet for the reason that I have not yet heard from the Genealogist in Ga., who is on a trip to S. C. and Va., where I hope she will be able to find my Millican-Underwood-Green lines. If you are in need of these book please don’t hesitate to say so, and I will return them at once, but I would like to keep them till I hear from this lady. I hope you are pleasantly located there and that you like it very much. With kindest regards and best wishes for you and yours, I am, Your friend, CKH/K ================================================== Transcription copyright © RoaneTNHistory.org 2005.
