Harriman, Tennessee, June 27, 1921. My dear Mr.Parham:- Well here I am again wanting some thing. This time I am trying to locate a picture of "Mary Grainger" wife of Governor William Blount, for whom Maryville was named, and I feel sure you will know where to find this picture. If you can do so, wont you please have a copy made for me and let me have it as soon as you can? I will gladly pay the costs. If this is too much trouble and you can sent me the picture, I will have Mr. Leavitt copy it at once and return the original to you, together with an extra copy for you, if you would like to have it. I do so hope you can locate this picture for me and I feel sure you can. My regard to you and yours, CKH/K PS/ One of the witnesses to the signature of Thomas McWhinney's when he sold that land to Edmund Parham in 1922, was Wm. Knox Jr., who married a sister of Thomas McWhinney's wife Eleanor, so if you know any thing about the maiden name of the wife of Mc. Knox Jr., that would settle the maiden name of McWhinney's wife too. I will be glad to know about this if you know, or any one who has Knox records. Miss White cannot do any work for me at this time.
