enclosing letter from Mr. James Branch Cabell, for
which please accept my thanks.

Could you have a typewritten list made of the members
of the Virginia Society of Colonial Wars, for me?
If so I will be glad to forward my check for the ex-
pense, if you will advise the amount.

If you can furnish me with this list, after looking it
over I may be able to get some one to recommend me
for membership.
