My dear Mrs. Smith:- I have been informed that you are an
authority in the family history of the Donelson family, and
I am writing to know if you can and will give me some assist-
ance with a question or rather questions, in the family?

According to the records I have Milberry Donelson who married
John McGregor, were either your grand parents or great grand
parents,  Milberry Donelson McGregor was a daughter of
Wm. Donelson & Charity Dickinson, who had the following
children:

William Donelson, did he marry Mary Sweeney?
Severn
Bettie
Martha
Polly
Milberry, married John McGregor.

Can you tell me who the above children of Wm. & Charity Donel-
son married?  Did one of the girls marry an Eaton, and was
the mother of Robert Donelson Eaton who married who married Janet D. ?------

Robert Donelson Eaton & Janet D. (---?---) Eaton, were the
parents of Andrew C. Eaton who married Susan B. Donelson of
Jefferson County Tenn., and later lived at Eatons X Roads,
Loudon County, Tenn.

If you make any charges for this information, I will gladly
remit on receipt of a bill.

matter, I am with thanks.
