Dear Sir:- In the enclosed stamped envelope, please give
me the name of some one in your city who could do some
research work in the old records of Pittsylvania Co. for
me.

If convenient, please give this letter to some party
who is familiar with work of this kind, and have them
write me.  I wish records of who the parents of George
Russell, were.  George Russell came to Washington Co.,
N.C., now Tennessee, about 1770, from Pittsylvania Co.,
Va., where he married Elizabeth _____?  I also wish
to know the maiden name of Elizabeth and the names of
her parents & etc.

George Russell’s sister Lydia married William Bean.  They
also moved to Washington Co. N.C. afterwards Tenn.

this matter, I am,
