My dear Mrs. Day:- Your letter of the 14th came on time, for
which please accept my thanks. I am sorry you have had so
much trouble about this matter, but I sent my initiation
fee just as Miss Hinton advised me.

I wonder if you have a copy of the by-laws of the Order you
could send me? My mother, sister, an aunt and two cousins
are all members of the Tennessee Colonial Dames and I am so
anxious to have them join the Order of the Crown, but I do
not know whether it is my privilege to invite them or not.
Can you tell me about this?
