[handwritten] 12/16/24 1/26/24 10/30/24 [typed] Mrs. Thomas Day, 1520 Central Ave., Memphis, Tenn. My dear Mrs. Day:- Further regarding my letter of Dec. 26th 1924. I am in receipt of a letter from Miss Mary Hilliard Hinton, Raleigh, N. C., in which she says that she paid my initiation fee of $15.00 to Mrs. Robert G. Hogan on Oct. 24th, 1924. I trust by this time my initiation fee has been sent on to you by Mrs. Hogan, and that you can soon send my certificate of membership. If you have not yet received this fee, won’t you please let me know so that I may write again to see what has become of it? Are you the officer to issue a permit for the insignia of the Order of the Crown? If so as soon as you receive my initiation won’t you please send this permit so that I may purchase my insignia? Thanking you very much for your prompt attention to these matters, I am with best wishes, Cordially yours, Mrs. Allen Russell Davis, 402 Morgan Street, Harriman, Tennessee. Jan. 9th, 1925.
