Hill, 413 Trenton Street, Harriman, Tennessee. My dear Mr. Hill:- This morning your check for $50.00, as entrance fee in the Baronial Order of Runnemede was received from Mr. Charles H. Browning. This is the only fee or assessment that is ever made, however, $20.00 Of this amount is the fee charged by the genealogist for his part in the connecting up of your lines. In event of their not being satisfactorily passed upon, that amount, of course, is retained for the work he has done, the balance being returned to you. I am saying this to you that you may know thoroughly the mode of procedure. When you have notice that your papers have passed the Eligibility Committee, you will have notice at once of your election, then we shall be glad to greet you as one of the membership. Yours very truly, BARONIAL ORDER OF RUNNEMEDE (signed) John B. Clement Keeper of the Purse. ================================================== Transcription copyright © RoaneTNHistory.org 2005.
