Harriman, Tennessee, July 19, 1924. Mr. C.H. Browning, 417 Wenst 114th Street, New York. Dear Baron Browning:- Your letter of the 16th came today, for which accept my thanks. I appreciate your kindness in correcting my Isham-Eppes pedigree more than I can tell you, especially since you could so easily have returned it to me. I have very few reference books, except some of the Colonial period which I use in connection with my work as Registrar of the Society of Colonial Wars in the State of Tennessee, so will be very glad to hear from Mr. Clements about your Magna Charta Barons book. If I am fortunate enough to be elected to membership in the Order, wont you please advise me how to proceed to have my other Runnemede lines verified, those through my Randolph family of Virginia, which I am told are in your Magna Charta book? Again thanking you for your kindness in correcting my pedigree paper, I am with best wishes. Sincerely yours, C.K. Hill.
