Dear Mr. Jack:- Your letter of the 31st addressed to Mrs.
C. K. Hill, received for which accept my thanks.

I regret to say there is no Mrs. C. K. Hill, but I am still
hoping there will be some day.

I thank you very much for the pamphlet on the Jack family,
which you so kindly sent me and which I am returning by
to-days mail.

I regret to say that I have not yet found the data I want
and need so much, but I sincerely thank you for your
assistance.
