Dear Mr. Hill:-
   I wrote you yesterday and of course I received this
morning your letter of the 16” inst. with enclosures, all
in excellent shape and I am very much obliged to you for
all the trouble you have taken in this matter.

   Mr. Polk Tarwater will be admitted at the meeting of the
Society on April 23”, and I shall then notify him direct,
so as to save you trouble, and I am sorry that you will not
be present at our meeting at Greensboro, and I much regret
the cause of it, and I trust that you will not be laid up
as long with your sprained ankle as you anticipate.
