My dear Mr. Hill,
   I am in receipt today of your letter of the 21st inst.,
enclosing the application of Mr. Jim Tarwater Wright, which
seems to be in good shape.
   In answer to your question the cost of a life membership
under a Rule of 1854 right is $100.
   There is no Dozier in the Continental Line, Colonel
Peter Dozier was likely an officer in the militia, and as
such he was not entitled to membership in the Society of
the Cincinnati.
