Virginia State Library RICHMOND, VA. ALL LETTERS SHOULD BE ADDRESSED TO THE LIBRARIAN August 19, 1925. Mr. C.K. Hill Harriman, Tenn. My dear Sir:- Your letter of August 14 directed to Mr. Morgan P. Robinson has been forwarded by Mr. Robinson to me for attention. Mr. Robinson is now away on his vacation. The assistant State archivist tells me that she thinks that you have examined everything that we have in the archives department and that Mr. Cridlin also examined this material for information in reference to Lieut. William Randolph. We are unable to say to what regiment Lieut. Randolph belonged and at what time he was made lieutenant. I am sorry. Very truly yours, H. R. McIlwaine H. R.
