W. CHAMPLIN ROBINSON, PRESIDENT WM. K. BARTLETT, VICE-PRESIDENT JOHN C. DAVES, SECRETARY THE TRUSTEES OF THE SHEPPARD AND ENOCH PRATT HOSPITAL 212-214 CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, BALTIMORE, MD. (stamped) AUG 6, 1925 My dear Mr. Hill:- I duly received your letter of the 1st. inst. and I have been looking in to the records to see whether William Randolph had any service in the Continental Line, but I regret to say that I cannot any evidence of same. He was likely an officer in the Virginia Militia, and as such he would have been entitled to bounty lands given by the State of Virginia. I wish it were so that your cousin were entitled to membership in our Society. I wish you would at some time come on and attend one of our annual meetings. Sincerely yours, John C.
